The HEAL Coalition is piloting a Healthy Corner Store Initiative!
Fresh Food on the Go is a pilot project aimed at increasing access to fresh fruits and vegetables at corner stores. Produce will be provided FREE to store customers, in partnership with the Kitsap Harvest gleaning program. The first corner store in the project is C&C Super Saver Grocery in Bremerton. Free produce will be delivered to our Fresh Food on the Go produce stand every Thursday from May – October 2021.
The project will be gathering feedback from store customers throughout the project and will be looking for additional stores to expand to in 2022. For more information about the project please contact:

If you have questions or would like to take part in the work group please contact us.
The HEAL Mapping work group has put together a collaborative map to assist the community in accessing resources during COVID. Check out the Kitsap County Resource Map yourself. This map includes bus lines and ferry service to help you navigate to and access resources such as food banks and meal programs, farmers markets, medical/dental resources and more.
